Debuting on September 27th 2017, The Bulgari Hotel Beijing adds a new jewel to The Bulgari Hotels & Resorts luxury hospitality collection. Referred to as an ‘urban resort’, the property is located in the heart of the exclusive Embassy District, in China’s capital city. Blending art with nature, the Hotel is situated adjacent to the Genesis Art Foundation, and surrounded by lush, sculpted gardens.
The Bulgari Hotel Beijing, entirely designed by the renown Architectural Firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, is an intimate oasis where the discerning traveller and the Beijing’s sophisticated elite may encounter nature and art. With lush gardens extending to the riverside, and walkways alongside it, the hotel’s 119 Rooms and Suites, including the Bulgari Suite, are complemented by a 1500-square-metre BVLGARI SPA, 25-metre pool, private park, Il Ristorante, Il Bar, and a BVLGARI ballroom, establishing a new benchmark for enlightened luxury living and personalized services.
As with all Bulgari resorts, the design was masterminded by Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.
The hotel is situated centrally in Sanlitun, next to the Liangma river.
With its sophisticated atmosphere, Il Bar at The Bulgari Hotel Beijing will be the prestige gathering point for Beijing elite. Here guests can enjoy cocktails, fine wine, champagne and Bulgari’s renowned Aperitivo at the signature oval bar or on the outdoor terrace, overlooking the riverside.
The serene 1,500-square-metre BVLGARI SPA at The Bulgari Hotel Beijing occupies two floors, and features treatments blended with traditional Chinese techniques. The spacious gym and adjacent movement studio feature the latest Technogym and Kinesis equipment, the WORKSHOP Gymnasium comprehensive workout, as well as Pilates. Guests indulge in the BVLGARI SPA’s harmonious atmosphere or the pool’s golden tiles to complement their fitness or Spa experience.
Located on the 2nd floor, all meeting facilities at The Bulgari Hotel Beijing feature floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy full natural light. The 520-square-metre BVLGARI Ballroom reaches to 6-metre-high ceilings, paired with two meeting rooms of 70-square-metre apiece that can be merged. A business lounge is available to support any client’s need.
Open for lunch and dinner, the 70-seat restaurant offers spectacular views over the park. From custom-designed Murano glass chandeliers to the chairs and the columns wrapped in dark-brown leather, every element of the restaurant’s ambiance has been crafted to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Hailing from the Italian region of Abruzzo, Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito is the genius behind the gourmet delicacies at Il Ristorante.
For the Bulgari Hotel Beijing, Romito established a true “canon” of contemporary Italian cooking by especially designing a new concept which preservs his fundamental philosophy of simplicity, synthesis and a quest for the quintessence of flavor.
Working from his headquarter in Italy and regularly counselling the hotel resident chef, personally trained by him, he brings to Il Ristorante a menu that expresses the culture, elegance and vitality of ‘Made in Italy’ to the maximum.
